And I started the using it. Because you can aim very easy with m4 because front sight removed from the screen when you use Holo. (like M16) Mk18 restrict your view with front sight. And from my exprience, its more stable. I hope they remove the front sight when you use Holo with Mk18 like other M series weapons. Aug 14, 2013 · The Block 1 is lighter by far. The Elcan is heavy, but its location doesn't affect the handling as much as something mounted farther out. The primary differences between these two is that the M4A1 has a 14.5" barrel with a pinned & welded flash hider and a carbine-length gas system, while the M4V5 has a 16" barrel with a midlength gas system. Looking for general use, the M4A1 with the quad rail and proven carbine length gas is awesome. I would go with the M4A1 if I did not want to suppress it.
